In today’s digital world, privacy has become everyone’s concern. Optimum has maintained a firm commitment to the privacy and confidentiality of our candidates since long before the topic was addressed by the business community in general.

Optimum believes that the career goals of an individual are a personal issue. Optimum staff take great care in protecting the anonymity of our candidates and will only release a resume to a potential employer once the candidate has granted permission. An Optimum candidate should expect to have a thorough understanding of the potential employer, the job being considered and any other pertinent facts related to the opportunity before he or she is asked for permission to submit their resume.

Personal contact information will not be released to potential employers unless the employer has expressed specific interest in a candidate after reviewing the resume. Unless otherwise agreed to by the candidate, the potential employer will make only scheduled contacts with the candidate. Typically, once an employer has expressed an interest in a candidate, Optimum will contact the candidate and schedule a convenient time for either a telephone or on site interview. It is the Optimum goal that the candidate remain in control of his or her schedule throughout the interview process and experience as few interruptions to their ongoing schedule as possible.

Candidates have often shared their experiences of having multiple copies of their resume submitted to the same hiring manager without their control. On more than one occasion, candidates have reported the discovery of their job search by their current employer as the result of indiscriminate recruiting firms broadcasting their resume without thoughtful concern for the negative affects of such actions on the candidate. Optimum is committed to working with the best and brightest professionals in the technology industry. Highly professional individuals deserve highly professional support as they seek to advance their careers.
