Kimberly Waters joined Optimum to open the Seattle office in December of 1999. She lived in Seattle and worked for Microsoft the previous two and a half years. Prior to Microsoft, Waters spent her first career as a non-profit fund raiser in Arizona, Washington, DC, San Francisco, and Portland, Oregon. Waters says, "My work life seems to be about opportunity-creation. In fund raising, I matched donors with causes and concerns, and helped them create new opportunities with smart use of their money. In recruiting, we match our client's needs with our candidates' skills and interests, obviously creating new opportunities for both parties to be get what they want."

When Waters is away from the office, she and her husband can usually be found traipsing around the region's many parks, mountains and beaches with their four-legged canine family (three strong now, and always subject to additions!).
